TRANSTEC preparing for 2nd Surveillance Audit

Our team is preparing for the 2nd Surveillance Audit for ISO 17100 on Translation Services Requirements, and ISO 9001 on Quality Management Systems, in addition to an initial audit in a new standard which is ISO 18587 on Post Editing of Machine Translation Output.

Throughout a 3-hour orientation session, our colleagues presented their roles in the translation process as the standard sets them out. The session also walked the team through the requirements and guidelines of the new standard. In the pictures, members of the team are presenting their roles in the translation process. We will hold a further preparation session before the surveillance and initial audit. That way, both long-serving and newly recruited members know every detail of the standard.
