Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA)

A non-disclosure agreement (NDA), also known as a confidentiality agreement, is a type of contract that documents the conditions between a disclosing party of confidential information and a recipient party in a defined contractual relationship with a specific term. It’s worth noting that some types of contracts that do not include an NDA or a confidentiality agreement may have a confidentiality clause or non-disclosure clause, which serves as a summary and abbreviation of the disclosing party’s commitment to maintain the confidentiality of the confidential information and not to disclose it to third parties except with the prior written consent of the disclosing party.
